I've just had to turn down another house sit - two in fact. It is about juggling dates. It is amazing how it doesn't always work. But that's the way it is.
The one in the Gold Coast hinterland was for nearly two months. Starting next week! Oh, heck!
In the quiet hills of the hinterland would have been a great place to spend some writing time, but that's the way it is.
The other ws more local, but again the dates didn't work for me. (Or them??)
I really long to get away again, but will just have to bide my time. I have a bit of study to do too, so it is a real juggling act too, and I don't know if I will get what I want with work either.
